Nepali Congress is passing through the rift between internal interest groups within the party this time. Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba also facing a crucial situation now because of the Mahasamiti meeting is to be near. Ramchandra Poudel, a second-ranked senior leader of the party, is heading a pressure group and trying to confine president Deuba. He has the blessing of the Koirala family in the last election. After the founder leader B.P Koirala, Congress was continuously under the impact of Koirala family until the lat Girijaprashad Koirala, the youngest brother of founder leader. In the meantime, Sekhar, Sasank, and Sujata: leaders from the Koirala courtyard are also trying to reestablish leadership in the party. Gagan Thapa, a youth role-model in the party was along with the group led by the Krishna Sitaula in past party election.
