The National Register of Citizens census showing millions of people are going to be stateless in Indian state Assam. The political discuss continually raising in negative and positive ways. Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is strongly standing in the side of NRC and almost opposition political parties are standing against BJP. The Trinamul Congress leader and Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamta Banerjee blaming NRC as a seed of civil war in Indian society.

The second phase of the issue will be more complicated to settle illegal people. Few leaders of Assam are starting to say that unmanaged illegal people should distribute among the different Indian states to the permanent settlement.

Nepal should pay attention to the Indo-Nepal open border this time because this was misused on the issue of Bhutanese refugees in the past.   After the starting of the process of National Registrar of Citizen In the Indian state Assam. About four million illegal people are under pressure of the indefinite future. It is very probable, grate number of these people follow the easy way to enter Nepal through Indo-Nepal open border.

Nepal has bitter experiences about the Bhutanese refugees in the past. Nepali speaking people who were agitating for democratic reforms in Bhutan, forcibly evicted from the Kingdom by the Thimpoo power and victims came to India three decades ago. India pushed them to Nepal and did not allow them who want to go back to Bhutan. Bhutan and Nepal are not the reciprocally bordering countries. India misused the open border that was not for the citizen from any third country except India and Nepal. The poor Himalayan country Nepal has been bearing Bhutanese refugee since about two and a half decades.

Northeastern state Assam of India is working to ready a genuine list of citizens to identify illegal infiltrators residing in the state. The conclusion of the second draft of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) shows about four million people are in the state. The final list is to be published in December last of this year. Most of these people are likely from Bangladesh, who came after 1971 or have not any testimony to prove their entry before the date. The picture is clear that the remarkable number of the illegal outsiders are living in Assam but Bangladesh already denied them as her citizen.
