       Kathmandu loaded with many VIPs from the different part of the world to participate in Asia Pacific Summit convened by a Korea based Christian promoter religious organization Universal Peace Federation. Mr. Eknath Dhakal is chairing person of the Nepal branch of Federation this time. He has been leading a small political party named Pariwar Dal in Nepal and also became the minister in the past. It is an amazing fact that the VIPs from the different sectors were joining the summit, concluded on Monday. Nepalese Prime Minister KP Oli was awarded $100,000 on the name of leadership and good governance also not free from the controversy
.
   The member of fundamentalist Hindu political party Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Vijaya Joli not only participating summit but praising organization chief Madam Moon as a Goddess. Mr. Joli said that he saw a divine glow on the face of madam. The act of the Joli was very notable for Nepali and Indian people.  Madhav Kumar Nepal,  a senior leader of ruling communist party and former Prime Minister of Nepal also in the line of Joli to chant metaphoric pray for Moon. The Nepali Prime minister Khadga Prasad Oli stay at Soltee Hotel to manage the programme with high priority.

     In Nepal, the increasing rate of Christians is high in the graph. Over ninety percent population of Nepal is religiously Hindu but constitutionally a secular country but it barred to convert religion forcibly. However, the daily life of people mostly regulated with religion. Most of the people are still not feeling easy in secularism but there is not any pressure come out on the surface. Perhaps, the sentiment of uneasiness is expressing against the Kathmandu summit.

Nepali Congress, the opposition party boycotted the events and criticizing the involvement of government in the summit. But heavyweight Congress leaders Girija Prasad Koirala, Sushil Koirala, Sher Bahadur Deuba and others were attendees of such summits in the past. Leaders of the ruling communist party also not satisfied with the government in this issue. The issue of the source of financial supporting of the summit also questioning in the ruling party.

 The government is trying to save its face from the controversy. According to sources, the summit was an event to promote tourism and successful peace process of Nepal. Although, Peace, development, and environment were discussed in the summit.

पुराने जमाने में भी यात्राएँ हाेती थी मगर आज के मुकाबले  बहुत ही कष्टकर हाेती थी । विज्ञान कि खाेजाें ने अब यात्राएँ काफी आसान हाे गयी है ।  बुटवल से यात्रा की तयारी में लक्ष्मण,गंगा और गिता सन् १९९० में भारत से मेरे लौटने के तकरीबन तीन दशकबाद इसबार पारीवारिक भारत यात्रा की एक योजना अचानक बनी । तब अपनी अब तक की आधी उम्र तक भारत में रहने के पश्चात अपने घर नेपाल वापसी की थी मैने । लौटने के बाद आनन फानन में बरसों बित गये । पलटकर कभी उन लम्हों को बारीकी से स्मरण करने का अवसर भी प्राप्त नहीं हुआ । इसबीच गंगा जमुना और ब्रम्हापूत्र नदी और नद में काफी पानी बह चुका था । समय के रफ्तार के साथ साथ सब कुछ बदलता गया था । तबकी पीढी अब उम्रदराज हो चुकी थी । उसके बदले में आयी नयी पीढी के दम पर हिन्दूस्तान और तरुण हो चला था । इन दिनों मैं पता नहीं क्यों मैं गती से कहीं अधिक स्थिरभाव और सामुहिकता से कहीं अधिक एकान्त प्रिय हो चला हुँ फिर भी तरुणाई से भरे इस बदलाव को नजदीक से महसुस करते हुये पुरानी यादों को पुनरताजगी देने के लिए भी इस यात्रा को अंजाम देने के लिए मैं  उत्सुक था । इस यात्रा की...

भारतको लोकसभा  लोकसभा चुनाव २०२४ नाव २०२४ मा उठाउन प्रसस्तै मुद्दा भएको तर कमजोर विपक्ष र मुद्दा नपाएर ४ सय पारको नारा लगाईरहेको शक्तिमा बलियो भाजपा मध्ये भारतीय जनताले कसलाई रोज्लान् ?  भारतमा अहिले २०२४मा सात चरणमा लोकसभाको निर्वाचन भैरहेको छ । संसारको सबैभन्दा ठुलो लोकतन्त्र मानिदै आएको भारतमा अंग्रेजी उपनिवेशबाट स्वतन्त्र भएको झण्डै ६७ वर्ष पछि अर्थात् सन् २०१४ पछि भिन्न खालका बहस चलिरहेका छन् । सन् २०१४मा दक्षिणपंथी हिन्दुवादी भारतीय जनता पार्टी सत्तामा पुगेपछि यस्तो बहस चल्न थालेको हो । प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदीले नेतृत्व गरेको भाजपा सरकारले सन् २०१९को चुनाव पनि जितेर एक दशक निष्कण्टक शासन गर्न सफल भएको छ । यसपाली २०२४मा पनि उ विभिन्न हतकण्डा अपनाउँदै चुनावमा होमिएको छ । चुनावको एकमहिना पहिला उत्तरी भारतको हिन्दी बेल्टका केही स्थानहरुमा घुमेर प्रचार प्रसारको शैली हेर्दा यसपटक पनि भाजपाको गठबन्धनले मतपरिणाम हात पार्ने जस्तो देखिन्छ । तर पनि चुनाव नजिकिंदै जाँदा उसमाथि चर्को दबाव पर्दै पनि गएको छ । जेहोस,  लोकतन्त्र र धर्मनिरपेक्षताको उदाहरण मानिदै आएको भारत भाजपा सत...
