Environmental Problems in the Himalaya region
Nepal is in high risk of global warming that is affecting the environment year by year. The lifestyle of the denizens Mustang also changing with new development.
Last month a denizen of Mustang, Finzo Gurung of 35 years was roaming in Lakeside, Pokhara one of the natural tourist hub city of Nepal. He used to visit Pokhara once or twice in the year, especially in the winter season. He was looking very keenly to the Barahi Temple amid in the Fewa Lake. On my curiosity, he replied with a noble-looking smile that he likes to see the Temple like floating on the water in the lake. I expend for about half an hour with him. His two sons and a daughter were at home Mustang located at Himalayan rang with his aged parents. He traditionally involves caring yaks and apple trees. Except this, he cultivates potato oats in the field. The verities of foods and testes were also limited. His home is traditionally made of mud by his grandfather about seven decades ago. Ultimately he told me that life in the Himalayan region is going harder.

Mustang a remote Himalayan district of Nepal is linking with a motor able the road. Finzo had never seen the crowds of men, women, and children till his teenage; except few traveling Hindu, Buddhist people for the pilgrimage to Muktinath temple and several white skinned western tourists in season. The burble of the Kali River and tweets of birds was like natural music. In the winter season, children used to stay with aged members of family and others go to the southern hill area for business. Finzo recalls his childhood. He admits that life was very harder than now but happiness was manifold high than now. Fifteen years ago his father has a hoard of mullets to fetch goods of businessmen. At that time it was the main medium of transport in this area. He supported his father as a muleteer also. The profession is outdated due to open motor-running roads link now. There are many shops on the side of the road. Cash money becomes important for life and access to sundered life. Rice is an important food and noodles, biscuits are the main snacks.
The Himalaya peaks were shining as the silver. Peaks were always covered with twinkling snow. He never saw the rainfall but saw snowfall. Sometimes he hears that the Himalaya is losing year by year its whiteness due to high melting rate of snow, now. Now a day, sometimes feels the rain is falling instead of snow.
People are often telling that the Himalaya is at great risk. He does not know the actual effect of changing symptoms in nature but he imagines the Mustang sans Himalaya, will be remained an ugly Mustang. Finzo expresses a fear of an unstable future.
