Impunity: Exploits The Norms Of Democracy

It is very difficult to know the two-thirds majority holder strong Nepali government's working directions. Priminister Khadga Prashad Oli came to power with a landslide majority in general elections about ten months ago. He strongly defied the Indian blocked on Nepal and signed important agreements with China. Likewise, PM Oli became an anti-Indian role model for Nepali people. This fame pulled him to the apex of popularity and rewarded the chair of Priministership of the country. His commitment was prosperity and good governance at the time of the election campaign was a very relevant issue for politically unstable Nepal.

 

Passing after the ten months of government the graph of the hope of people landing down to the groundward. Recently, Resham Choudhary the main accused of Tikapur murder case, later win the election for federal parliament as a candidate from Kailali -1 of Rashtriya Janata Party but he was in detention. Eight persons including SSP and an infant was killed by a communal mob on 24 August 2015 in Tikapur. Police filed a charge sheet against him as the main suspect.  He surrendered on 26 February 2018 in the court. However, he was suddenly brought on 5 January by the police to the Singhadarbar and took the oath of the member of parliament and immediately return to detention again. the case is still in court. The main opposition party Nepali Congress didn't take part in that ceremony.

 

Madhesh based political party Rashtriya Janata Party continually pressing to the government to release their innocent lawmaker who is justified by the public vote. Ten years of civil war more than fifteen hundred people were killed brutally by Maoist rebel or state force but the cases are not in the book for justice. The problem of impunity is going to regard as an easy example. Winning and defeating any election may not be counted always as justice and injustice. It is not other than a bad smell of anarchism. Democracy never walks on the road of anarchy. If the then Maoist leaders State Army responsible personals are enjoying impunity Resham also be not barred to enjoy it. Mr. Oli not marking it seriously.

पुराने जमाने में भी यात्राएँ हाेती थी मगर आज के मुकाबले  बहुत ही कष्टकर हाेती थी । विज्ञान कि खाेजाें ने अब यात्राएँ काफी आसान हाे गयी है ।  बुटवल से यात्रा की तयारी में लक्ष्मण,गंगा और गिता सन् १९९० में भारत से मेरे लौटने के तकरीबन तीन दशकबाद इसबार पारीवारिक भारत यात्रा की एक योजना अचानक बनी । तब अपनी अब तक की आधी उम्र तक भारत में रहने के पश्चात अपने घर नेपाल वापसी की थी मैने । लौटने के बाद आनन फानन में बरसों बित गये । पलटकर कभी उन लम्हों को बारीकी से स्मरण करने का अवसर भी प्राप्त नहीं हुआ । इसबीच गंगा जमुना और ब्रम्हापूत्र नदी और नद में काफी पानी बह चुका था । समय के रफ्तार के साथ साथ सब कुछ बदलता गया था । तबकी पीढी अब उम्रदराज हो चुकी थी । उसके बदले में आयी नयी पीढी के दम पर हिन्दूस्तान और तरुण हो चला था । इन दिनों मैं पता नहीं क्यों मैं गती से कहीं अधिक स्थिरभाव और सामुहिकता से कहीं अधिक एकान्त प्रिय हो चला हुँ फिर भी तरुणाई से भरे इस बदलाव को नजदीक से महसुस करते हुये पुरानी यादों को पुनरताजगी देने के लिए भी इस यात्रा को अंजाम देने के लिए मैं  उत्सुक था । इस यात्रा की...

भारतको लोकसभा  लोकसभा चुनाव २०२४ नाव २०२४ मा उठाउन प्रसस्तै मुद्दा भएको तर कमजोर विपक्ष र मुद्दा नपाएर ४ सय पारको नारा लगाईरहेको शक्तिमा बलियो भाजपा मध्ये भारतीय जनताले कसलाई रोज्लान् ?  भारतमा अहिले २०२४मा सात चरणमा लोकसभाको निर्वाचन भैरहेको छ । संसारको सबैभन्दा ठुलो लोकतन्त्र मानिदै आएको भारतमा अंग्रेजी उपनिवेशबाट स्वतन्त्र भएको झण्डै ६७ वर्ष पछि अर्थात् सन् २०१४ पछि भिन्न खालका बहस चलिरहेका छन् । सन् २०१४मा दक्षिणपंथी हिन्दुवादी भारतीय जनता पार्टी सत्तामा पुगेपछि यस्तो बहस चल्न थालेको हो । प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदीले नेतृत्व गरेको भाजपा सरकारले सन् २०१९को चुनाव पनि जितेर एक दशक निष्कण्टक शासन गर्न सफल भएको छ । यसपाली २०२४मा पनि उ विभिन्न हतकण्डा अपनाउँदै चुनावमा होमिएको छ । चुनावको एकमहिना पहिला उत्तरी भारतको हिन्दी बेल्टका केही स्थानहरुमा घुमेर प्रचार प्रसारको शैली हेर्दा यसपटक पनि भाजपाको गठबन्धनले मतपरिणाम हात पार्ने जस्तो देखिन्छ । तर पनि चुनाव नजिकिंदै जाँदा उसमाथि चर्को दबाव पर्दै पनि गएको छ । जेहोस,  लोकतन्त्र र धर्मनिरपेक्षताको उदाहरण मानिदै आएको भारत भाजपा सत...
